If you want to see what a Chicago writer looks like, come join us for a reading at the Beverly Branch of the Chicago Public Library this Saturday at 2 pm. In conjunction with the Tallgrass Writers Guild, we will be doing pieces aloud for your enjoyment.
Admission is free.
And there will be a variety of writers to gaze upon!
Exact address – 1962 W. 95th Street, Chicago
I promised to be family friendly – which I hope will not be a disappointment. I will do a poem about jazz and if time permits, a couple of prose pieces about life in Chicago from works in progress. And if there aren’t too many little ones in the audience, I might slip in the garbage truck scene from the 107th Street Murder.
